Today, I am proud to announce my support for Kevin Falcon.
I’ve been a member of the BC Liberal Party since I was 16 years old. I’ve been a volunteer in the trenches, I’ve run local campaigns, and I’ve had the privilege of being elected an MLA and serving in cabinet.
I know the hard work that lies ahead for the next leader and I believe Kevin has what it takes to lead both the party and the province through these challenging times.
Kevin and I have a lot in common. We’re both proud girl dads who are family-oriented and driven by values and principles.
We share a passion for building better communities. Through our work as grassroots organizers, we understand the importance of local engagement, from coffee shop chats to roundtables to town halls — every bit matters.
Kevin will champion big, bold ideas. That’s exactly what we need right now. Someone with a vision for British Columbia that propels us forward. Someone who won’t just settle for an economic recovery, but actually thinks about building for our next generation.
As we emerge from the pandemic, it’s more important now than ever to look forward and focus on restoring confidence and rebuilding our province.
We need to get British Columbians back to work, and get small businesses back on their feet.
We need more affordable housing options and better access to affordable quality childcare close to home.
We need an equitable economy where everyone has a seat at the table – no matter their age, gender, background or where they live in the province.
To make that happen, we need a proven leader who can deliver.
Kevin understands these priorities and he knows how to get the job done. He will recruit the next generation of young, diverse, passionate candidates to help him implement this vision for British Columbia.
That’s why I’m supporting Kevin to be the next leader of the BC Liberals — and I hope you’ll join me by signing up to be a member of the party.
I’ll see you on the campaign trail! Let’s go!
